Great success of Statotest in the international competition CASSINI Challenges

We are very pleased to announce that our prototype STADIM-GI has won a prestigious award in the CASSINI Challenges competition, organised by the EU Space Programme Agency (EUSPA).

The CASSINI Challenges competition attracted participants from 21 countries with 87 prototypes showcasing a wide range of innovations from sustainable agriculture to advanced technologies. Statotest was among the ten winners in the prototype submission category, with each winner receiving a €30,000 prize to further develop their idea.

The award will be presented during the CASSINI Entrepreneurship Days 2024, which will take place on 3 and 4 June 2024 at La Fabrica in Prague. We are truly grateful for this unique opportunity that has allowed us to transform our innovative vision into practice and contribute to building a safer and more efficient infrastructure. This project would not have been possible without the support of our important partners – thank you Lipo.ink, ARR – Regional Development Agency, ESA BIC Czech Republic and Liberec Region.

The STADIM-GI project uses data from Copernicus satellites and the Galileo navigation system to monitor in detail the stability of soils and structures such as mines, dams and bridges. This success in the competition moves us closer to bringing our solutions into wider use and showing that science and technology can have a real positive impact on the environment and society
