Why Statotest was founded
Statotest was inspired by a series of infrastructure tragedies — the collapse of the Troja footbridge in Praha, the collapse of a motorway bridge in Janov, Italy, landslides on the D8, and rockfalls in Hřensko.
Ing. Petr Klokočník decided to solve the problem with technology. The result is a comprehensive monitoring system that continuously monitors the structural safety of buildings over the long term, using battery-powered sensors with cloud data transfer.
