About the product
Statobox is a compact wireless measuring device designed for long-term, continuous monitoring of structural and geological formations. Power is supplied by a LiSoCL2 primary cell (3.6 V, 5–8 Ah) with a lifetime of up to 5 years at 4 measurements per day, or an extended battery of up to 6×19 Ah for a lifetime of up to 20 years. The device supports communication via LoRaWAN, NB-IoT/LTE, Bluetooth and optional satellite technology.
Safebox integrates a 3-axis MEMS accelerometer for measuring vibration and disruptions (±2 g/±4 g, ±8 g, 12 bit per axis), a precise 3-axis MEMS inclinometer with a range of ±180° and a resolution of 0.0007° (0.006 mm/m), a temperature and humidity sensor (−40 to +80 °C, 0–100% RH), and optional GNSS positioning (Galileo, GLONASS, GPS/QZSS). Installation is via 4 neodymium magnets on steel structures or 2 screws on other materials.
Typical deployment areas: long-term monitoring of bridge structures, industrial and sports halls, towers and lookout towers, building foundations, retaining walls and geological structures (rock masses). Configuration is done via the Statotest cloud or mobile app (Android, Apple).
